I’m Steve Haney, the photographer behind smh fotografie.
I make pictures of the things that catch my eye — light on a wall, the shape of a street, a fleeting gesture. A lot of the work is made close to home in Sarasota, some of it while traveling, and a good portion comes from the ordinary days of family life.
The camera helps me pay attention. Most of the photographs live on Instagram. A few have also been shown in the Leica Fotografie International gallery.
Based in Florida.
